Silver consumers use smartphones too

Older consumers 55-64 who make over 100K a year are almost as likely to have a smartphone as those 35-44 who make 35-75K per year according to this research from Nielsen. This supports our view that age alone is not a determinant for use of technology or the internet.

Also from this research, among people people 55~64 years of age who had chosen a new device in the past 3 months, 56% of them chose a smartphone.
