Australia's Alzheimer TV Campaign Rides 'Iron Lady' Movie

Well I hope there’s more to it than this.

No doubt a lot of time, effort and money has gone into this campaign but what exactly is it trying to achieve?

Fight!? Surely this challenge could be levelled at almost any disease. It leaves me wondering ……. how?

One hopes that other elements of the media campaign will provide the answers. However, I think this commercial could have worked harder for the cause, particularly as TV is still the dominant medium to reach older adults.

Seems the greatest kudos for the spot was not the message, but the medium as it was strategically juxtaposed with the movie Iron Lady about the former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher and her battle with dementia”.
