50 Plus rule the world!?

This is just an opportunity to boast about the power of age. Financial Times reporters have just published their choice of the 50 most influential people in the world who are likely to shape debate on the future of capitalism.

Rather than list all 50 (you can see them in this article) I thought I’d simply list the lonely 5 who were under 50 years of age:

1: Barack Obama, 47
US president

7: Tim Geithner, 47
US Treasury secretary

13: Olivier Besancenot, 34
French party leader

20: Mark Carney, 43
Governor, Bank of Canada

39: Nouriel Roubini, 49
Chairman, RGE Monitor

Says something about the power and influence that comes with age?
